Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

On behalf of the students, staff and community, I warmly welcome you to Gymea Bay Public School. It is an honour to lead this vibrant school where every student is valued and supported to thrive academically and personally. Our dedicated staff provide high-quality teaching in a collaborative, inclusive environment, while students also enjoy a range of extracurricular activities like dance, public speaking, debating and sport.

We acknowledge the traditional lands of the Dharawal people and are committed to Aboriginal education through our Cultural Hub and Aboriginal Education Officer. Strong community involvement, including our active P&C Association, enriches our school.

Together, we aim to engage, challenge, and empower every student for a bright future. I invite prospective families to visit and join our supportive community.

Thank you.

Cara Davidson, Principal of Gymea Bay Public School
